Eligibility Criteria Recruitment 2024
To be eligible for the Research Associate position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- Essential Qualifications:
- A doctorate degree in Agricultural Engineering (Soil and Water Conservation), Hydrology, or Irrigation Engineering.
- Alternatively, candidates with a Master’s degree and three years of research or teaching experience are also eligible.
- A first-class degree is required, along with good knowledge of MS Office.
- Desirable Qualifications:
- Proven proficiency in using RS-GIS tools, satellite image processing, ERDAS, ArcGIS, or QGIS.
- Experience in mapping land use and land degradation will be an added advantage.
Age Limit
The upper age limit is 35 years as of March 31, 2023.
However, candidates from SC/ST/OBC categories can enjoy a relaxation of up to 5 years.
